I used these insights to redesign the app to further assist them with their process and planning which would lead to them executing their installations more efficiently.
I set up sessions with the existing app users and observed them throughout their workflow. This helped me identify and understand the issues they faced using the current application and allowed me an opportunity to discuss what they thought worked well and what new features they might find useful.
I then mapped out the existing app flows to identify dead ends and how they can be rectified. This helped me create a new flow from which I created wireframes and tested them with the users. After a couple of iterations I moved on to the UI with continued testing and iterations until the ideal functionality was achieved.
