Along with the improvements there was a requirement to increase it's functionality and include tools for finance and warehouse management to support expanding services.
A lot of time was spent interviewing the systems users to understand the companies existing processes and how the software was currently being used, I made a record of all the limitations experienced. I then looked at market related offerings and with my other findings I defined an MVP specification as well as the desired outcomes of the future state.
I moved on to creating a site map and wireframes which I reviewed and tested with stakeholders. Iterations we're made over time based on feedback until all parties were satisfied. Alongside this I was creating UI mock ups and components as well as a clickable prototype to assist the development team in understanding the flows and stucture.
